GOP leaders call Republican race for McCain

McCain has yet to say weather he thinks he has won the Republican presidential race over Huckabee. GOP leaders say that he is going to represent the republicans in the presidential race. It is now mathematically impossible for Huckabee to win. They say that McCain would be the best hope for Republicans to take over the house. Huckabee says he’s staying in the race regardless of McCain numbers. McCain has 827 delegates to Huckabee’s 217, according to CNN calculations. A candidate needs 1,191 to become the Republican nominee. With only 774 delegates left, it’s obvious that McCain will win. McCain says that he doesn’t mind that Huckabee is deciding to stay in the race even though he would prefer he didn’t. Huckabee said McCain was "too much of a gentlemen" to ask him to step aside.
I think that Huckabee should stay in the race until it’s over. If he ever wants to run again, he might have the reputation as the guy who quit. Also, all the republicans aren’t for McCain and they probably wouldn’t like it if the only other option they had quit. I’m an Obamma fan, so I don’t want McCain or Huckbee to win. But I have to say, If I had to have a republican as president, I would definitely pick McCain.
